Today is my Aunt Catherine’s Birthday. Because I can’t be there in peson, I want to wish her a very, Happy Birthday.
Growing up, birthdays were a highlight. Aunt Catherine and my Grandmom would come over our house to celebrate each of our birthdays. These memories are vivid even today. I remember them fondly. Even today, she has been very supportive and I am grateful for all her support.
In the picture, I am with Aunt Catherine and my Grandmother at my High School graduation. Catherine was always the cool Aunt.
My brother John is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. I liked this picture because it reminded me of our days at St. Josephs School in Camden, New Jersey. In this is a picture, he is in kindergarten.
Today is my mom’s birthday. I want to wish her a very happy birthday. I wish we were there to celebrate with her. Emigrating from Scotland to US as a teenager, my mom has always been an inspiration. She is full of courage and generosity. She is the perfect example of what a parent should be.
This is one of my favorite pictures of my Dad and myself. In it, I am only a couple months old. I put a copy of this picture, along with another of my oldest son and myself, in his casket when my father died. I recreated this photo with my sons many times.
