Jesuit education influenced him to spend time in service to others. Spent 1 year of service in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC). The JVC is a Catholic organizations where you work full time for 1 year with local grass roots organizations to serve people with the greatest need.
Worked in the Housing Improvement Program of Catholic Charities in Buffalo, NY. Helped the elderly that were homeless and living in substandard housing to secure new housing.
Spent another year of service (not with the JVC) teaching at St Mary Catholic High School in Jersey City, NJ.
Jesuit-educated at the University of Scranton in Scranton, PA.
