Today is a Saturday and I spent most of the day working, even now as I write this (about 9:50 PM). My wife, Heidi, has watched the boys for most of the day, cooked dinner, given them a bath and put them to bed. All of this has allowed to toil on long delayed work projects. She has to be the #1 ranked wife in the world.
I also realize I have written many posts on various personal and company blogs, but never about my wife Heidi. So I wanted to tell you a little bit about her. Professionally, Heidi is a Pediatric Oncology Nurse at Childrens Hospital in Dallas. She is THE person you would want caring for your child at the most difficult time in the life of a parent. I am in total admiration of her ability to work with kids that have cancer and blood disease. Her ability to continue working after she sees a little kid die of cancer. There is no one better.
On a personal level, she is a spectacular mother. So much so that we have 2 Mamas Boys. She is kind, generous, caring and a great mother and partner. Really, a one-of-a-kind wife. I hope you have (or will have) such a wife.
